Part-1

Procedure

1 Import the geometry

2 Geometry clean-up

• Toggle edges
• Edge edit-replace line
• Surface ruled
• Deleting surfaces
• Surface edit-trim with line- with lines (surfs- surf edges)

3 Mid surface extraction with offset option.

4 set the quality criteria

5 clean-up the mid surface-

• Remove the pin holes
• Toggle the close edges

6 Mesh the mid surface

7 Check and improve the quality of mesh

8 Assign the thickness = 0.9 mm

• Create property card (thickness=0.9mm) then assign the thickness to middle surface

Part-2

Procedure-

1 Generate mid surface by skin offset option

2 Mesh the surface with minimum number of trias.

3 Improve the mesh quality

4 Take the measurement and assign the thickness= 2mm.

Part-3

Procedure-

1 mid surface generation with skin offset option

2 mesh the surface and clear the quality failure

3 assign the thickness=1.8
