OBJECTIVE:

In this project I had learnt and understood the variation of designing & also different option of solid works.
To create the separate parts of yacht in a model
To design the model and assemble the model of yacht in solid works
To assemble the separately done yacht and by using assembly constrains in a yacht assembly
To render the assembly in solid works by visualise & photoview360

Parts / feature modelling of yacht

A part or feature modelling is a process of adding a sheet metal or a solid to the design by sketching the model in required geometry , a feature is made using certain sketches or certain operation added to the design is listed in a part navigator typically its started through datum , datum plane or by coordinates system and then the sketching is done for the required part.

Some of the design required advance sketches like projected curve, split line and some more

Sweep curve: this option required a single curve and one exactly perpendicular curve so the sweep curve can be formed

Projected curve: this option required 2 curves on to the planes wrt, the planes must be perpendicular with each other and the curve created will respective of previously done two sketches.

Split curve: this operation is carried out after surface is done, once after that the surface will split one of two. Etc.

Assembly of yacht

An assembly of any model has several parts (huge or tiny), generally in yacht assembly there are 9 parts or subassembly they are combined together group in a layout and later its compressed by applying a parametric link, both in dimensional and positional aspects.

Types of approach

There are two method of approach in design.

Bottom-up assembly
Top-down assembly
In bottom-up assembly we can modify the changes in separately in other page and add component in assembly
Top-down assembly we can modify the changes in same assembly level so we can analysis the situation.
