Advanced Sheet Metal Design Using NX Cad Challenge_7_ Metal bracket-II

                                                                         METAL BRACKET

Objective: To create Metal Bracket from 2D drawing using NX CAD

Introduction: Sheet Metal Design is very important in aerospace, aeronautical & automotive field

Design Methodology:

Description:

Counter Flange: To create a flange by extruding a sketch along a vector or an edge or chain of edges.

Normal Cutout: To remove material from the sheet metal perendicular to the sketch.

Break Corner: To round the edges of sheet metal.

Unbend: To flatten the bent surfaces.

Rebend: To bend the flattened sheet metal.

Hole: To create hole at desired position on metal sheet.

Advanced Flange: Used to add flange along an edge using bend angle or reference face.

Gusset: Triangular metal piece added at the edge of sheet in order to strengthen and reduce stress.
