Advanced Sheet Metal Design Using NX Cad Challenge_5_Odd Shaped Enclosure
Title : ODD ENCLOSURE
OBJECTIVE : To convert the solid body into sheetmetal.
DESIGN APPROACH :
- Created a solid body in modelling environment.
- Using the Sheet metal from solid command wrap the solid body with sheet metal.
- Added features such as Flanges, jogs to further defined basic shape of the formed sheet metal part.
- Unbend the bend areas where needed, and place holes, beads features on the part.
- Then rebend the flattened bend areas to complete the part.
- Created flat pattern for the purpose of drafting.
