Advanced Sheet Metal Design Using NX Cad Challenge_2_Box Assembly
Aim: to create a box assembly in NX
Brief: Box Assembly is the culmination of multiple parts that make up the desired model. The first part is the base, which is a hollow structure and its main purpose is to serve as a surface for storing any objects according to the given use case. Another element is the lid, which is a cover that is fixed on the top of the box. This part covers the entire box to prevent unwanted particles from entering the storage area of the box and nothing stored inside falls out of the box. The lid is connected or attached to the base structure at one end by means of open-loop flanges which help it to rotate about the pivot and thus provide a mechanism for easy opening and closing of the lid.
