Title of the Project: Advanced Sheet Metal Design Using NX Cad Challenge 1 Casing Design

Objective: To design a Casing with the help of NX advance sheet metal.

INTRODUCTION: The NX is the modelling softaware, which helps to create the simple and complex parts easily, in this session we are creating the simple sheet metal part by using the NX software.

Design methodology: in this design we are doing as per the below operations.

Description of Tools Used: we have used some tools in this design mainly

TAB: creation of the base feature for the sheet metal with the given thickness.

Normal CUTOUT: Cut the sheet as per the sketch

BEND: Bends the sheet metal as per the sketch

FLANGE: Add the flange to a angle from the face or base

UNBEND: Unbending face which is already bended

DIMPLE: it bends the sheet as per sketch as required and help to form

BEADS: lifts the sheet along the given sketch which hleps to strength.

REBEND: which helps to rebend the face which are unbended

CONCLUSION:

From the designing of the Casing i have learn how to design the casing using the different commands.
