Underbody Coating and its purposes

Underbody Coating is used to protect vehicle chassis from environment.The underbelly of a car is exposed to different elements like water,stone,dust,poor road etc.When these elements comes in contact with the underbody of a car then it leads to corrosion,wear,tear and damage. This will affect the car efficiency.So in order to protect our car\'s underbody from corrosion,wear,tear and to maintain car\'s efficiency we go for underbody coating.

Purposes:-

• Life span of car increases:- As underbody coating helps to avoid the damages done to the car by protecting the car coming in contact with water,stone,dust etc.Therefore life of car increases.
• NVH value decreases (Noise Vibration and Hardness):- As we all know that vehicle makes lot of noise.Undercoating provides insulation which acts like a sound barrier for which NVH value decreases.
• Easy maintenance:-As undercoating reduces the chance of damage or decay the vehicle underbelly by protecting from stone,water,dust etc.Therefore maintenance will be less and easy.
• Improve driving comfort:- Underbody coating forms a thick layer by covering the whole underbelly of a car ,which acts as a good damping material.Therefore reduces the vibration of sheet metal and hence helps in improving the driving experience.
