Sheet Metal Odd Shaped Enclosure by using NX12

Objective :

Odd Shaped Enclosure are normally used in the Sound arresting functions.

Description :

The various commands and features that were used to design the Casing are given as follows:

• Sketch : Basic need to create the every design
• Extrude : To make the Solid Body
• Shell : To Convert solid body to hallow face
• Conversation(Solid to Sheetmetal) : Using the convert command, the corners will ribbed and converted to Sheetmetal part
• Flange : Its also used to bend the sheet metal. But these features are applied in corners of the sheet metal
• Jog : By using Sketch the jog will form
• Unbend : Make the sheet metal part as flat surface
• Bend : By using the Sketch we can bend the sheet metal part wherever we need
• Hole : Used to make the Screws
• Rebend : It is the reverse order of the Unbend option
• Flat Pattern : Make the surface flat and convert into 2D

Conclusion :

Thus the Odd Shaped Enclosure of sheet metal has been designed by using NX12
