Front View Geometry Camber Gradient

1. Camber gain is nothing but the change in the camber angle during wheel travel. As during the vehicle cornering outer wheel will be loaded more than the inner wheel so its no longer to remain parpandicular to the road( i.e. will have positiive camber) to counteract the affect we put negative camber in static and in joince to maximize tire grip.

2. In cornering outer wheel will be more loaded and will be in joince condition so will get positive camberered, to counteract the effect will put negative camber in static condition to keep wheel plane parpandicular to road surface to achieve maximum tire grip.

3.From handling perspective we choose double wishbone setup as we can adjust the camber in static as well as in dynamic condition by changing the LCA and UCA length and angle which will be difficult in case of macpherson setup.
