Problem set 1-week 2 challenge

1. Bump steer will cause due to tie rod errors in geometry. This arise as tie rod may be not in parallel with links or IBJ/OBJ points are in not align with LCA points. Toe in will occur during bump and Toe out during rebound.

2.Toe out during rebound will cause an understeer effect.

3. Compliance is occurs due to bushing effects only else will cause kinematic behaviour

4.

5. As during turn the outer wheel subject to more load than inner so subjected to more lateral forces at outer wheel due to this outer wheel gain positive (away from centerline) camber

6. Aligning torque act just behinf the lateral force with some distance called pneumatic trail and try to rotate the wheeel plane in direction with wheel velocity and create an understeer effect

7. Rear ride frequency is greater than front to align with pithching of vehicle arised when vehicle goes over an bump

8. At low frequency i.e. at low speed, trasmisibility should high (high damping force) so we have more damping force to reduce harshness. At high frequenct transmissiblity should low(Low damping force) for better ride.
