Class 2 MBD

The class dealt with the intrduction to the different types of bodies,constraints,forces,geometries.But the concentration was for the bodies and the number of degrees of freedom included for different types of bodies.For rigid bodied we have 6 DOF and the effects of mass and inertia are significant but the deformation is negligible.The point mass system has 3DOF with the MI negligible and significant mass.Flexible bodies have significant deformation .Whenever deformation studies are to be done we conclude to ude flexible bodies.

There we certain points mentioned evn for the use of collectros and the gravity and units.The collectors are many but a single collector can be used at a time.Gravity and units are automatically turned on by the tool but if specific about not using it we can turn it off.

The free body problem is solved and the generated data is as shown .The rsult matches with the hand calculation ,whuch is solved by using equation of motion.
