BENCHMARKING
- It is the process of company business to analyze the processes and performance metrics from other companies and standards.
- In the automotive industry, it is used for comparison of similar products, services and on dimensions performance. Used to know the availability of the feature and delivery on the basis of customer review.
- It can be operated in different factories and branches or same factory or branches or different competing organization.
- Benchmarking 1 is used for comparing the price, features and segments, whereas
- Benchmarking 2 is used for comparing the features of individual components.
Here In this case,
Mr D.S. Pughazhyendhii is a married man who lives in Bangalore which is a highly crowded city. His family comprises of five members including his wife, five-year-old boy, his father and mother. He visits his native place Madurai which is 500kms away from Bangalore once in a month. Also, he will be using his car to commute to his office. His budget falls between 8 to 10 lakhs on road. Please suggest him with options so that he will buy a good car for his family.
Note: Pughazhyendhii is fond of big cars.

In Our case, we mainly focus on price,fual cost, boot space and mileage. So we prepare a chart according to the above table.
Now that all data\'s have been analysed following are the results obtained.
- If he prefers for automatic then Tata Tigor will be better.
- while in case of manual, Honda amaze is the best. Because it gives high boot space, high millage and more safe car.
