- It consists of 1inner panel and 2-3 Outer panel.
- It is made up of steel or aluminium.

- From above advantages is clear that most of the car component are made with aluminium for reduction of weight.
- Thickness will be from 0.65 to 0.75mm.
Reinforcements: -
- These are used basically to strengthen parts locally.
- Thickness can be varied from 1 to 1.5 mm.
- Made from outer body scrap parts.
- Emboss are placed in order dissipate the impact force in order direction.
- Material are cut to reduce the weight.
