3D Creation of Celing, Roof, Architectural plan, Structural plan, Sectional view, Elevation view and Camera specific view for a house plan using REVIT

Q.1 Depend on the project saved from Week 3, go from the First Floor Level. Model a Ceiling from the architecture tab above the walls at the first-floor level.

Answer-

Aim- To model a Ceiling from the architecture tab above the walls at the first-floor level.

Introduction-

  1. The creation of Ceilings within Revit is a very like method to that of Floors and Roofs- i.e. you can let Revit do most of the work and “guess” where you want the boundaries to be, Or you can enter “Sketch Mode” and literally sketch out the boundary of the ceiling yourself.
  2. The main thing to remember is to be in the Correct Ceiling Plan View before you initiate. Revit “will” let you place Ceilings in Floor Plan Views, but I would not suggest this as you cannot happily see what you have generated.

PROCEDURE-

STEP-1

  • First we open the Revit
  • Software, and choose the ceiling option from the architecture toolbar.

STEP-2

  • After choosing the ceiling option, then choose the each room one by one.
  • Then the ceiling will be generated, as given in the below picture.

STEP-3

  • Here we can the ceiling in the three dimensional view as given in the below picture.

RESULT-

  • The ceiling has been modelled strongly from the architecture tab above the walls at the first-floor level.

Q.2 Model a roof above the ceiling by choosing the footprints of the ceiling. Utilizing the fixment toolbars resulting on-screen fix the roof slope to 10 degrees.

AIM- To model a roof above the ceiling by choosing the footprints of the ceiling.

INTRODUCTION-

  • Roof, covering of the top of a building, serving to protect against rain, snow, sunlight wind, and extremes of temperature.
  • Roofs have been established in a wide variation of forms flat, pitched, vaulted, domed, or in combinations as dominate by technical, economic, or aesthetic considerations. The earliest roofs established by man were probably that roofs that were made of straw, leaves, branches, or reeds; they were generally set at a slope, or pitch, so that rainfall could drain off them.
  • Conical those roofs are a good example of this type and are still largely utilized in the rural areas of Africa and elsewhere.
  • Thicker branches and timbers finally came to be utilized to span a roof, with clay or some other relatively impermeable substance pressed into the interstices between them.
  • Gabled and flat roofs were possible with these materials. With the invention of brick and cut stone for building, the basic roof forms of the dome and vault arrived.

PROCEDURE-

STEP-1

  • Open the architecture toolbar, and choose the Roof by Footprint option as given in the below picture.

STEP-2

  • Next we choose the roof and fix the roof to 10 degrees by choosing it, as given in the picture.

STEP-3

  • The roof has been generated, as given below.

RESULT-

  • The roof has been generated strongly to the model in the revit in detailed manner.

Q.3 utilizing the file saved from weeks 2 to 4 create plan views for ground floor level and first-floor level including all the walls, floors, and parts. Unconnected them to architecture and structural plans
