1) Based on the project saved from Week 3, proceed from the First Floor Level. Model a Ceiling from the architecture tab above the walls at the first-floor level
AIM:- To Model a Ceiling from the architecture tab above the walls at the first-floor level from week 3 project.
INTRODUCTION:- Ceilings are created above each floor level. Ceiling boundary are created by sketching the boundary lines along the outer walls of the building.
PROCEDURE:-
RESULT:- Hence, modelled a Ceiling from the architecture tab above the walls at the first-floor level as shown above.
2) Model a roof above the ceiling by selecting the footprints of the ceiling. Using the adjustment toolbars appearing on-screen adjust the roof slope to 10 degrees
AIM:- To Model a roof above the ceiling by selecting the footprints of the ceiling and using the adjustment toolbars appearing on-screen adjust the roof slope to 10 degrees
INTRODUCTION:- Roofing is provided above the building to protect it from sun, rain, wind, etc. Roof can be either flat or sloped based on the reequirement by selecting the outer walls of the building. Slope angle can be edited in properties browser.
PROCEDURE:-
RESULT:- Hence, Modelled a roof above the ceiling by selecting the footprints of the ceiling and using the adjustment toolbars to adjust the roof slope to 10 degrees
3) Using the file saved from weeks 2 to 4, create plan views for ground floor level and first-floor level including all the walls, floors, and components. Separate them to architecture and structural plans
a. Architecture plan must have walls, floors, and all the components placed within the building
b. Structure plan must have details of only walls, floors, and columns
AIM:- To create plan views for ground floor level and first-floor level including all the walls, floors, and components and to separate them to architecture and structural plans
INTRODUCTION:- Structural plan gives the structural details of the building which is default in Structural template.
PROCEDURE:-
a. Architecture plan must have walls, floors, and all the components placed within the building
RESULT:- Hence, created plan views for ground floor level and first-floor level including all the walls, floors, and components and separated them to architecture and structural plans
4) Using annotate toolbar add dimensions to all the walls and floors with reference to the longitudinal and transverse grids created in the project file
a. The architecture plan dimensions include details on where the components are placed within the buildings with relation to grids. Overall dimensions are sufficient for architecture plans
b. The Structure plan dimensions must include details on the position of all the walls and interior walls with reference to grids. Locate all the framing components of the building with reference to a fixed point using Structural plans
AIM:- To add dimensions to all the walls and floors with reference to the longitudinal and transverse grids created in the project file using annotate toolbar
INTRODUCTION:- Linear dimension gives the distance between two points in a room or the entire structure.
PROCEDURE:-
RESULT:- Hence, added dimensions to all the walls and floors with reference to the longitudinal and transverse grids created in the project file using annotate toolbar
5) Create a sheet template from the view tab and adjust the parameters on the sheet to add appropriate views
AIM:- To create a sheet template from the view tab and adjust the parameters on the sheet to add appropriate views
INTRODUCTION:- A sheet template is selected from the view tab. A new sheet size is picked and views are placed, scaled and documented in the sheet.
PROCEDURE:-
RESULT:- Hence, created a sheet template from the view tab and adjusted the parameters on the sheet to add appropriate views
6) Using the elevation tab create the elevation views, looking at your building from East, North, South, and West
AIM:- To create the elevation views, looking at the building from East, North, South, and West using the elevation tab.
INTRODUCTION:- Elevation view gives a general 2D view of the building from a particular direction.
PROCEDURE:-
RESULT:- Hence, created East, North, South, and West elevation views looking at the building using the elevation tab.
7) Produce section cut through each room either cutting across longitudinally or in a transverse direction
AIM:- To produce section cut through each room either cutting across longitudinally or in a transverse direction.
INTRODUCTION:- Section view of a building is obtained by passing a section line in longitudinally or in a transverse direction. Section line represents a particular of the building or room is removed to get detail function of the model.
PROCEDURE:-
RESULT:- Hence, produced section cut through each room either cutting across longitudinally or in a transverse direction.
8) Classify the views, Plan Views, Section Views, and Elevation views to either Design or Documentation category using Properties browser
AIM:- To classify the views, Plan Views, Section Views, and Elevation views to either Design or Documentation category using Properties browser
INTRODUCTION:- Under project browser, number of views are displayed such as Structural Plan, Floor plan, Elevation and section. The structural plan gives the structural floor plan details of the model. The floor plan gives the architectural floor plan of the building. Elevation view gives the view of the building from a particular direction. Section view gives the inside details and function/ purpose the building or the room.
PROCEDURE:-
RESULT:- Hence, classified the views in project browser and Plan Views, Section Views, and Elevation views are Documented using Properties browser.
9) Using the sheet template produced create multiple sheets as follows
a. A 101- Ground Floor Architecture Plan
b. A 102- First Floor Architecture Plan
c. A 103- Roof Plan
d. S 101- Ground Floor Structural Plan
e. S 102- First Floor Structural Plan
f. S 103- Roof Framing Plan
g. A-201- North-South Elevations
h. A-202- East-West Elevations
Add additional sheets based on the sections created in your Revit file
AIM:- To create multiple sheets using the sheet template as follows
a. A 101- Ground Floor Architecture Plan
b. A 102- First Floor Architecture Plan
c. A 103- Roof Plan
d. S 101- Ground Floor Structural Plan
e. S 102- First Floor Structural Plan
f. S 103- Roof Framing Plan
g. A-201- North-South Elevations
h. A-202- East-West Elevations
Add additional sheets based on the sections created in Revit file
INTRODUCTION:- A sheet of standard A1 or A2 size must Title block with project name, sheet number, client details, company details and scale of the view in the sheet. Initally, the sheet template is set and views are placed into the sheet. The created sheet is listed down in project browser.
PROCEDURE:-
a. A 101- Ground Floor Architecture Plan
b. A 102- First Floor Architecture Plan
c. A 103- Roof Plan
d. S 101- Ground Floor Structural Plan
e. S 102- First Floor Structural Plan
f. S 103- Roof Framing Plan
g. A-201- North-South Elevations
h. A-202- East-West Elevations
i. A-301- Bedroom Section
RESULT:- Hence, created multiple sheets using the sheet template floor plan, structural plan, elevation and section.
10) Create a camera-specific view or a 3D view in each room ( living, dining, bedroom). Based on the views create a new set of sheets starting A-501 (you can add as many sheets after, 502, 503.. n)to place the 3D view images. Produce the sheets as a part of project drafting.
AIM:- To Create a camera-specific view or a 3D view in each room ( living, dining, bedroom). Based on the views create a new set of sheets starting A-501 (you can add as many sheets after, 502, 503.. n)to place the 3D view images. Produce the sheets as a part of project drafting.
INTRODUCTION:- A sheet of standard A1 or A2 size must Title block with project name, sheet number, client details, company details and scale of the view in the sheet. Initally, the sheet template is set and views are placed into the sheet. The created sheet is listed down in project browser. The 3D view gives the complete description of the room.
PROCEDURE:-
RESULT:- Hence, Created a camera-specific view or a 3D view in each room ( living, dining, bedroom) in a sheet starting A-501.
