IoT also allows companies to collect data on customer behavior and preferences data, allowing them to customize their products and services to meet customer needs.

Here are a few ways by which the 5G technology can enhance the IoT -

This is because 5G consumes less power than existing wireless technologies, allowing devices to remain connected for longer without depleting their batteries.

What is the function of 5G wireless technology?

5G wireless technology provides enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB). It is designed to provide significantly higher data speeds than its predecessors, with peak download speeds of up to 20 Gigabits per second (Gbps). 

It also has lower latency, meaning it can quickly send and receive data. 5G combines existing cellular network infrastructure and new technologies, such as beamforming and massive MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output), to send and receive data. 

5G also utilizes more spectrums to increase its capacity and speed and can use millimeter-wave technology to provide access to high-bandwidth services.

  • Parking automobiles without traveling to a parking space
  • Remotely monitoring animals and crops 
  • Low latency devices enabling remote operations 
  • Monitor and managing properties remotely
