Week 9 Project

Aim:-

To draw the shell of a Kia Sportage.

Introduction:-

Drawing a full car using the techniques from previous challenges.

Methodology:-

Import the canvas images and align the images.

Draw a box with the dimensions of the car and set it to inactive.

Draw the outlines of the a specific part of a car.

Using the outlines of the car to make a surface.

Use the project command to project curves on surface.

Use trim to remove the excess or divide the surface.

Repeat the process for other parts of a car.

Fillet the sharp ends to make them smooth.

Reflect the surfaces and create a geometry.

Tools used:-

Cube to draw an inactive box.

Curve tool and blend tool to draw curves.

Duplicate tool to duplicate curves.

Surface tools(rail,skin and square) to make surfaces.

Ms draft to make drafts.

Project tool to project curves on surfaces.

Trim tool to trive or divide surfaces.

Extend tool to extend sufaces and curves.

Align tool to align curves and surfaces.

Fillet tool to fillet sharp edges.

Symmetry to reflect the surfaces.

Create geometry to convert the reflected surfaces into real surfaces.

Conclusion:-

In conclusion the a model of a car was drawn using the techniques from previous assignments with the proportins of the vehical taken into account.
