MACHINING WITH PLANAR CHALLENGE
OBJECTIVES
In this challenge we have to perform an explicit dynamics simulation to find out the Equivalent Stress, Total Deformation and also insert a User defined result to calculate the temperature of the body. You need to perform this for 2 cases. One will be with a cutting velocity of 20000mm/s and the other will be with a cutting velocity of 15000mm/s.

From the above stimulation in case1 has higher velocity than case2 hence in case 2 the workpiece is not fully sheared approx 5mm is left out in worpiece and the temperature in case 1 is higher because of highvelocity compared to case 2 is around 13°c.
