Week 9-Creation of 1D Connectors Challenge

Objective:

To do the mesh the given mid surf with the given quality criteria and connect it with the given assumptions.

Procedure:

• Import the model and start to mesh the mid srface of the given model.
• By pressing F10 you will enter into the quality criteria.
• Now enter the quality criteria,

• After given the quality criteria start to mesh the mid surface by using auto mesh.
• By using F12 we will enter into the meshing tab.
• Make shure that there is no quality errors.
• By using F5 mask and unmask the error elements.
• Now mesh the elements and clear the quality errors.
• Make sure the model is saved.
• After meshing starts to connect the surface with the given connectors
• Create connector and Attach the various parts of the given model,

• 1. Right_Rail_2 & Front_truss_1:- Seam-Quad(angled+capped+L)
• 2. Left_Rail_2 & Front_truss_1:- Quad elements
• 3. Front_truss_2, Front_truss_1 & Right_Rail_1:- Spot weld with 2 Layers and 5 mm Diameter
• 4. Front_truss_2, Front_truss_1 & Left_Rail_1:- Hexa (Adhesive)
• 5. Rear_truss_2 & Right_Rail_2:- Bolt Connector
• 6. Rear_truss_2 & Left_Rail_2:- Bolt Connector
• 7. Right_Rail_1 & Right_Rail_2:- Spot-weld with Rigid Elements
• 8. Left_Rail_1 & Left_Rail_2:- Spot-weld with Spring Elements
• 9. Rest all the component left Join them with suitable connectors
• Make shure all the connections are completed .
• Save the model

Result :

The Given midsurfaced model is meshed, quality checked & connected with the given quality criteria and connection parameters.
