DRAFT ANALYSIS

Draft analysis is done on the Closed Surface.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Tooling Axis is unhidden.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->At First draft analysis option is selected in that under Display Colour Scale is made shown.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Now under direction compass is been selected to define the Draft direction.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->The Axis is been picked and placed over the Tooling Axis.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Now it is been locked by selecting lock option

For convenience the display colour on the colour scale variant is been changed.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->- Values is been changed to red colour

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->0 Value is been to cyan colour

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Greater than 0 values to green colour

Since the green colour shows the draft angle more than three degree.

While doing draft analysis it seen that on edges it showing cyan colour which meant it less than zero-degree draft angle. So, the value of Draft angle on green is changed to 2.9. Now the draft analysis is set for the full surface except on the centre portion. So, to correct it the distance of the tooling axis is been corrected from 3 degree to 6 degree.

Thus, Draft Analysis is done over the Surface.

CREATION OF TOOLING AXIS

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->At first the base portion from the given CLASS A surface is been extracted.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Then a point is been created on the centre of the extracted portion by point on surface option in point tool.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->For reference to planes an axis system is been created on the point.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Now an intersection is made on the CLASS A surface.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->A positioned sketch is been created on the point with reference to yz plane

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Then lines are been drawn over the side of the intersections by taking them as reference. The aim to draw these two lines is to find a mean line between the two side (Blue surfaces in CLASS A) of the class a surface.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->After drawing the lines, the intersection is made hide and Bisecting tool option is been selected from line tool and bisecting line is been drawn between two lines. Length id been trimmed as per convenience. Except the bisecting line other all are made as construction elements. This is the tooling axis for Y- Direction.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Now a positioned sketch is been created on the same point with reference to zx plane.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Now for taking intersection a cut section is been made and intersection is taken.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->A line is draw over the taken reference intersection. Since one side is open line can be drawn only on one side a line is drawn from centre point for the creation of tooling axis.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->The minimum tooling axis for CLASS A is 3 degrees. So, the value between these two lines is adjusted to 3 degrees. Now the other lines except the line at 3 degree is been made reference elements.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Now there are two lines by bisecting them by bisecting tool option from the line tool a new line is been formed. It is the Tooling Axis.

Thus tooling Axis is been created vai Bisecting Method.
