Week 9 - Challenge 1 - Base Bracket Design
AIM
Create the Base Bracket Plastic component through the given Class A surface. To begin with , the tooling axis for the given Class A Surface should be created meeting the requirement of the draft angle and at the end perform the Draft analysis on the model.

PROCEDURE
The class A surface in opened in the Wire Frame and Surface Design work bench and Tooling Axis is defined in it. So the design analysis is defined in it.Define a new geometrical set BASE BRAKET and then define an another set in it named B SURFACE.
The three ribs of one side of the bracket is extracted using extract command. Then untrim them by the Untrim command .After that use the Expolate command to define a rectangular surface around the ribs. Use the Trim command to get the required shape as same as the Class A surface. Follow the same procedure for the other side also. Obtain offsets of the both sides using Offset command. Make use of the offsets obtained to procede for furthur designing. So RIB 1 and RIB 2 are obtained.
Define new set BASE SURFACE. Use Extract command and Offset to obtain the required design. Then use Surface Untrim to remove the hole on it. Then use Extarct and Surface Untrim to the surrounding base surface. Extrapolate the slanding surface as it intersects the two ribs. Then define a set FINAL TRIM and in it trim the slanding surfaces with the ribs and trim the resultant with the base surface.
Apply trouble shooting since the base surface was not offested. Replace the surface untrim the offset for furthur designing. Define a new set under BASE BRACKET named as C SURFACE. Set boundary for the final trim using Boundary command. Use Sweep command on the C surface obatined at degree 3 and thickness on default. Apply boundaries to the holes and use sweep command on them.
Join the C SURFACE and CLASS A together under a new set FINAL TRIM. Alos join the holes to them also. Move to the part body workbench and define CLose body command on it to obtain a Solid.
The required Draft Analysis were conducted.
