Attachment feature report

Dog house – This is an engineering feature which supports other feature to operate easily

The above image shows the draft analysis on dog house in which the the surface is clearing the tooling with 1.5 degrees with the tooling axis

It is a front view which the front surface which is clearing the tooling

It shows the attachment feature with the solid body like screw boss and dog house

In the dog house

The draft is given as 1.5 degrees on the surface

In the screw boss

Screw boss – it is a feature which guides the screws to locate its position to get screwed

The draft is given as 0.5 degress and the it is showing the blue colour .

The blue colour shown in the colour window represents 0 and above degress

Therefore it satisdies the angle which is made as 0.5 degress

Hence it justifies the condition that it is clearing the main tooling axis completely.

The draft analysis of the solid component in which it shows

That the some of the sides are not clearing the tooling axis because the input class A from which the class B and C is created was with walls 90 deg

After creating the tooling axis , the above sides which are able to clear the tooling axis.

To make the side which is not clearing the tooling is to be modified from the class A surface to further to modify in the class B and C surface
