Week 8 Worm Gear Challenge

Objective :

To perform a transient structural analysis on a worm gear assembly.

Procedure :

• At first import the given worm gear assembly.
• Next assign the materials required for the assembly.
• Now provide the contacts and connections for the assembly.
• After that Provide the boundary conditions for the assembly.
• Get results for Equivalent stress, Equivalent elastic strain and the total deformation in the model
• Save the model.

Conclusion :

The transient structural analysis on a worm gear assembly as performed and the values are recorded and compared with each other values.
