Parting surface is the connection surface between CORE & CAVITY

PARTING LINE WITH COMPONENT AND PARTING SURFACE

Parting line is line connecting between the component and the parting surface.

SECTION VIEW

The hollow gap between the two Core and Cavity is where the molten plastic flows into to create the desired component.
