Aim: To create the Coin Holder Plastic component through the given Class-A surface.
Consideration:
Wall thickness 2.5mm
Draft Angle: 3mm
Steps:
*Checking Class A Surface for surface interigity.
Close profile infer that A surface has no patched surface.
* Creating Tooling Axis
As the vertical wall are straight with no draft angle, thus tooling direction along X and Y create stright axis along Y axis.
* Creating B surface
Base Surface.
* Traiangular emboss
*Triming
*Vertical walls
* Triming Surface
*Taper top wall
*Triming surfaces
*Outer Flange
*Triming surface
*extrploating top parting surface
Triming surface
*defining appropriate fillets
Creating C surface
Triming A,B and C surface
Triming pocket between the vertical walls
*Coverting Closed surface to solid body
Draft Analysis
Green surface infers acheiving 3 Degree draft angle
Red Surface infers the draft angle is below 0 degree, thus need to acheiveusing special technique in injection moulding
