Week 8-Challenge
AIM:To perform a volume 3D tetra mesh in a given component at a given element size and a given quality criterion.
PROCEDURE:(I)The model in which we have to perform the 3D volume meshing is shown below:

(II)Before proceeding to the meshing we have to cleanup the geometry in the sense that wherever the surface are disturbed we have to make it proper by toggling it or using the replace point or creating a separate surface into it etc. After clearing out the geometry we can deployed a 2D trias mesh into it.
(III)Defeaturing also been takes place wherever the structure is failing for the minimum quality criterion either by toggling the feature line or by removing the whole structure by replacing it.
(IV)The quality criterion has been imposed to the structure before mesh deployment and for the housing the mesh criterion and the rest of the model mesh criterion shown below:

change only be in the element size which is 6mm in the rest of the 2 model. After completion of 2D meshing we deploying the 3D tetra mesh .

We can set the parameter as well such as min. and max. length under tetramesh parameters. The model which we have got after performing the stated operations above. We can check for tet collapse in 3D meshing.

(v)The model pasted above showing no tet collapse ,tet collapse can be removed by 2 methods either by remeshing the 3D mesh which is failing for the tet collapse by saving the failure and mask them using retrieve option and remesh them until tet collapse would not get zero or by manually by using translate the nodes.
CONCLUSION:In this we have got to know about the 3D tetra volume meshing and how it fails for the tet collapse and how we can get rid off from it.
