Week 8 - Challenge 1 - Draft Analysis on a Fan Cover

DRAFTING ANALYSIS ON A FAN COVER:

• First, the surface is checked whether it's completed closed. Join and Boundary options are used to check.

• The intersection of the Fan cover is taken to create a dummy axis.

• A bisecting line is created with the help of two construction lines which are drawn on the surface of the Fan cover.
• The resultant bisecting line will be the TOOLING CLEARING X DIRECTING.

• TOOLING CLEARING Y DIRECTING.

• The Bisecting line created from the TOOLING Y DIRECTION and TOOLING X DIRECTION will be the main TOOLING AXIS.

• TOOLING AXIS.

• Select the Feature draft analysis option. Click on the compass icon and place it on the tooling axis.

• Change the drafting as required, here it's 3degress.
• The color green states OK.
