Week 7 - Simulation of a 1D Super-sonic nozzle flow simulation using Macormack Method

From the Time variation at the throat area plots, it can be concluded that initial variations in the Non-conservative form for a certain period of time take more time to get a stable solution compared to the Conservative form.

From the variation of the Flow rate distribution plot, we conclude that both of the forms show the same results for all values.

The Mass flow rates at different Time steps plots, along with the distance oscillate, initially but the solution becomes stable for both the forms after the 400th Timestep.

From the final comparison of the normalized mass flow rate of both forms, we can see that Non-conservative oscillates more than the conservative form, so we can conclude that the conservative form takes lesser iterations to attain stability.
