Week 7: Shock tube simulation project

AIM: To perform shock tube simulation.

PROCEDURE: 

• The model is imported to the converge studio software and the boundary flagging is done.

         

                                      

• The case setup consists of the following things,and all the fields are setup for the simulation

                   

Setup:

• Material - Air
• Species = N2 & O2
• Run parameters - Transient state solver,compressible and full hydrodynamic
• Simulation time parameters

       

• Regions and initialisation

        

        

• Events

• adaptive mesh refinement
