Week 7- Meshing of Backdoor Challenge

objective

To create midsurface,geometry cleanup and mesh the the backside door of car and check quality parameters.

Procedure

created midsurface successfully using midsurface option.

then deleted solids,and deleted duplicated surfaces and make missing surfaces using filler surface and delete surface.

then geometry ceanup was done using autocleanup option.

Then checked elements quality parameters and masked and rectify the elements using smooth,place node,move node options.

Then using quality index using the given components check min&max lengths,min&max angles of tria and quads,warpage,aspect ratio,taper,skewness and rectify using cleanup tools are smooth,element optimize,place node.

result

midsurfacing,geometry cleanup, mesh and check quality parameters are done successfully.
