Step 1: Open the Hypermesh> optistruct.
Step 2: Click on import the model select the file location of the given downloaded file then click import.

Step 3: Go to delete and select solids and select all the parts on the screen. This is top removes the faces of the components.

Step 4: Now one by one select the component and conduct geometric cleanup which is to remove any free edges. This can be done by using quick edit tools. Do this for all the components.

Step 5: Now Create mid surface for all the components separately and name them. Here in extraction options select skin offset for all components.

Step 6: Apply mesh to the components by 2d > automesh. But prior to that go to Preferences > Criteria file settings > apply the above data.

Step 7: For symmetric body like inner extract we can delete half the symmetric body using delete tool and later on reflect it.

Step 8: After applying mesh to all components go to cleanup tools and check if the mesh is in the required criteria. For areas of fillets use midlines and mesh again.

While meshing remember that zigzag mesh flow is not present, opposite tria’s are not seen, rotating quads are not placed and tria’s should not be seen near the hole region.
Step9: Now to get the full mesh of the inner extract go to Tools > reflect > click elems > Duplicate > original file > Select elems to be mirrored > Select N1, N2, N3 and B > Reflect.

Step 10: Go to edges > comps > select the components > click find edges > preview equiv > equivalence

Conclusion: Meshing of the given model has been done successfully under the required criteria.
