Week 6-Meshing of Hood Challenge

Aim: Meshing of hood with given quality criteria and thickness.

Procedure: 

1)Extract mid-surface :

     i) Extraction of mid-surface using skin option and auto-midsurface.

    ii) Auto-cleanup of the extracted mid-surface.

    iii) Toggle the line whichever is required.

2) Meshing of mid-surface :

      i) Meshing of each component separately with given length.

      ii) And improve the mesh flow.

3) Quality criteria:

      i) Improve given quality by quality index.

conclusion:Performed geometry cleanup and extracted mid-surface of Hood model of car and meshed the component with given element quality criteria and assigned thickness to the shell elements.
