SOLID MESHING OF REAR VIEW MIRROR

AIM:

To learn and use the tools in ANSA and produce a 2 D Meshing and volumetric of rear view mirror with using the quality criteria.

PROCEDURE:

• First analyze all the entities by rotating the views.
• Take one property to do the topo.
• First locate the mid surface for complex part by manual method and other parts by mid surface tool(skin).
• After getting the mid surface, check for the geometry. If there is any error correct it.
• Now go for classic meshing, before that set meshing parameters and quality criteria.
• In correct the quality by using split, paste, number, move, best mesh, join, align, slide, cut, hotpoint for basic 2D meshing.
• After that volumetric meshing, create p shell property for each part.
• Then produce volumetric meshing and correct the quality.

OUTCOMES:

Now I learned to volumetric meshing.

RESULT:

The volumetric of rear view mirror is done using ANSA software with the given quality criteria.
