Week 5 Challenge : Surface wrap on Automotive Assembly
Aim: To make the surface wrap on Automotive Assembly to the engine, gear box, and transmission.
Procedure:
1) First of all we need to clean up the geometry of the engine and remove the unwanted surfaces and rings presented inside and outside.
2)second, consider the gear box and transmission taken resolved the triple cons and single cons. And deleted the unwanted surfaces.
3) Using the merge option merged the three automotive parts as assembly.
4) And using the compress option to delete the unwanted PIDs.
5) Now , use the Warp option in the classic mesh tab for surface warp mesh. Going for the constant length and giving the 3mm length and selecting all the PIDs and click run option to get the surface warp for the model.
Learning Outcomes
1) learned how to clean complex geometry.
2) learned how to mesh complex geometry.
Result: Done with surface wrap on Automotive Assembly to the engine, gear box, and transmission using ANSA.
