Week 5

AIM- Identifying the geometrical errors for the component with standard elemental quality criteria.

PROCEDURE-

STEP 1- the first step is to identify the geometrical errors and correction of those errors in the topo module.

STEP 2- standard quality criteria is to be set before the surface mesh.

STEP 3- spot-meshing has been done with tria and ortho tria elements

STEP 4- after the surface meshing check for off elements with the given quality criteria.

STEP 5- removing all the off elements next step is to take into consideration for the unstructured mesh.

STEP 6- volume has to define before unstructured mesh.

STEP- check for Tet collapse after the unstructured meshing.

LEARNING OUTCOMES- This assignment is useful to understand the unstructured meshing of different structure with the procedure to remove off elements from the structure.

CONCLUSION- The given model has no geometrical and fulfils all the quality criteria with zero Tet collapse.
