In electric vehicle most of parts are use the power converters like...

motor to run at various speed

battery to charge

head lights, horn, music player are to operate at different voltage level

and many more applications are there.

In horn which requires DC and less than 10 v

so, mostly the 12 v battery used in electric vehicle and horn need 10 v insted of 12 v

therefore the buck converter will use to step down the voltage from 12 v to 10 v.

If we consider the music player and it need 5 v

so, there is 12 v battery used in electric vehicle and music player need 5 v insted of 12 v

therefore the buck converter will use to play the music player.
