Conjugate Heat Transfer Analysis
Conjugate Heat Transfer is the heat transfer between Solid and surrounding fuids. Temperature fiedl on both side is coupled together to predict the heat transfer from fluid to the solid wall. In CHT the heat transfer from fluid to the wall is attributed to the Convection and in solid to the Conduction. At the outer surface which is open to the outer fluid is through Convection.
In order to design the equipment or device where heat transfer involves it is advantageous to carry out CHT analysis. It will enable engineers to check the efficiency of the design.
