Q1)What is the difference between mapped and dynamic model of engine, motor and generator? How can you change model type?

Mapped model is basically a block which which is controlled by some predefined input in model which is genareting its output by calculating those datas.

theses is actually a set of lookup tables.which is help to calculated the output data

However daynamic model is doing a real time simulation, it is not just a lookup table inside of these model it is providing a total connection which is help the model to do the change in real time based. There is any problem in output we can check its inner connection to do any modify

Q2) How does the model calculate miles per gallon? Which factors are considered to model fuel flow?

Step1

Input Battery Power > per Kw>kwh by using EPA formula>per hours calculation> Mpgal

Step2

Velocity>distance>mto100Km>m to mile

Mpgal and Fuel volume flow output is adding and deferentiating > m^3 to L

These all aparameters are generating the mile per galon

Factors considered to model fuel flow are -- 1)Vehicle Speed

2)Fuel Volume flow

3)Battery Power

Q3)Run the HEV ReferenceApplication with WOT drive cycle. Change the grade and wind velocity in the environment block. Comment on the results.

Q4)Keeping all other parameters same, compare the simulated results of hybrid and pure electric powertrains.
