Week 4- Challenge

1.imported the igs geometry from the link given.

2.created mid surface of the entire model

3.then performed 2d mesh on the mid surface.

4.created 1 rbe 2 link using rod option

5.created 2 rbe 3 links using rbe3 option

6. using hyperbeam sections created 3 geometries i.e BOX section, I section and CROSS section and assign the dimensions given in the challenge

7.add steel as a material for both bracket 1 and bracket 2. with dimensions 2.0 and 2.5

8.add properties for these brackets with steel

9.create rod with rbe2 link, beam with rbe3 link and bar with rbe3 link.

10. update these created rod, beam, and bar with already created hyperbeam sections according to the given challenge.

11.before updating with hyperbeam sections change sections properties CARD IMAGE TO PBAR PBEAM AND PROD.and associate properties with corresponding beam bar and rod.

12.applying mass of 10 to the rbe2 link using the Masses option.

13.using springs option join the two components by selecting two nodes.
