- Implement control logic of a “washing machine” using Stateflow as per given sequence:
Ans: Power/water supply logic is given thru AND gate so washine won't work if either of these not supplied.
As instructed once output from AND gate is 1, machine will start functioning and will switch to soaking followed by washing after 200 sec delay.
Once washing is done for 100sec, machine will switch to rinsing for 20 sec followed by dry running for 50 sec. After all these operation machine will switch off and On/Off status can be seen thru lamp where red is off and green indicates On state.
2. Make a Simulink chart for the “Gear shift” logic as per below conditions:
Ans: As per given criteria for gear selection based on speed of vehicle, gear shifting will happen once input reaches threshold speed for other gear position.
Input is used here as speed signal and same is connected to ramp signal to simulate the increasing speed scenario for changing different gears.
Once speed (input) crosses threshold values (16,26,41,61) gear changes accordingly.
Same gear position can be seen in display for driver indication on dashboard.
