Week - 4

1.Washing Machine

The inputs for the chart are power and water. The outputs from the chart are soak, wash, rinse, dry and finish. Each process is denoted as outputs. For all the inputs and outputs seperate lamps are kept for indication purpose. If output value is 0 then the lamp will change into red colour and if the output value is 1 then the lamp will change to green colour. After the completion of all the process the finish lamp will turn to green colour. The simulink model and 3 different outputs are attached below.

2. Gear Shift

The input for the chart is speed. The output from the chart is g(gear). The system has 5 gear shifts as given in the question. A lamp is used for gear indication.A slider gain block is used to vary the speed during run time. There are 5 different colours been set for 5 different gear shifts and the colours for the gear shifts are attached below. The simulink model and the output of the model is attached below.
