Week - 4

Control Logic of Washing Machine has been implemented in a Stateflow Chart using altogether six states.The first state represents Machine On condition for which two pre-conditions are availability of Power Supply and availability of water.Both these conditions have been implemented using constant blocks.

After making the Washing Machine On the subsequent steps in the sequence,namely Soaking,Washing,Rinsing and Drying have been implemented using one state each with necessary time delay in their execution.The final state is 'Finished' which is synonimous with a LED indication.While running the silulation the system is showing a message of unresolved symbols which are required to be corrected using Symbol Pane.However, because of my limited technical ability I was not able to carry out necessary correction.

The Gear Shift logic has been implemented using a Signal Generator and a Multi Port Switch in the input.While Signal Generator corresponds to the car speed the Multi Port Switch is being used to carry out Gear Changing.In the Chart Diagram a state has been created for each gear , namely Gear1,Gear2, Gear3,Gear 4 and Gear5.Necessary speed limit conditions have been set for each state.The output of the state chart is taken to a Display Unit.A horizontal gauge has been used for speed indication purpose though it is not connected.When Simulation Run is executed the system is showing 'Unresolved Symbol' error. But due to my limited technical capability I could not resolve the issue.
