Week 4 - 2D Meshing for Sheet Metal

AIM:

To produce mid-surface and mesh for a given assembly with the required quality and parameters.

PROCEDURE:

  • First analyze all the entities by rotating the views.
  • Take Topo for all surfaces.

  • Click Orient for a better view.

  • Separate the parts by locking the view.

  • Check geometry for locked view 1 and correct it.

  • In this locked view 1, produce a mid-surface with the given meshing parameters.

  • Like this do it for all the locked views.

  • Now check the quality. Correct the quality tools in the classical mesh.

  • After correcting it, assign thickness for the parts and save the model.

OUTCOMES:

Here I practiced mid-surface and meshing.

RESULT:

The meshing is produced as per the given quality criteria and practiced mid-surface and meshing tools.
