Week - 4 - 2D meshing for Plastic components

1.First I gave TOPO to whole geometry of Bottle Cap.

2.Then checked for geometry check using Checks in TOOL.

3.After that there was single and tripple cons present so I used RELEASE and TOPO to remove the tripple and single cons to conert them into double cons.

4.After removed all tripple cons there was no error available and geometry checks has been done.

5.In LIST I selected Material and Tick for Defined of geometry Id.

6.Then I done Midsurfacing of geometry started from simple component by using OFFSET and MIDDLE.

7.When it is impossible to use middle directly I used OFFSET .

8.Some of the small parts are required to extend by using EXTEND from the FACES to the midsurface of another parts

9.Also when there is required to create new surface I use NEW from FACES to complete midsurfacing of geometry.

10.When came to compex parts like tooth I used MIDDLE from the CURVES and first selected 2 cons and generated middle curve after that I selected curve that generated and by using PROJECT from CONS and generated double cons to create new face.

11.By using NEW from FACES I created new midsurface for tooth.

12.When whole geometry has got midsurface I apply SET PID from FACES and gave thickness and turned ON PID from DRAWING STYLE so its color gets changed and set PID operation got done.

13.After i turned ON MESH .

14.I updated PROPERIES as given in the challenge like skewness, max and min length ect .

15.And I updated value in MESH PARAMETER from UTILITIES nd gave value like TARGET LENGTH of 1 ang MIN and MAX LENGTH of 0.5 and 3

16.After that I gave mesh from MESH GENERATION using BEST feature for simple part geometries and by using SHELL MESH in which RECONSTRUCTION and SMOOTH feature helped me to removes trias as well removed OFFS from the mesh.

17.I tried to eliminate OFFS and TRIAS as maximum as possible.
