Week 4-1D Element Creation Challenge

Objective: Mesh the the component with the Size of 5 Units. Creating 1D elements on below component with different cross-section and DOF.

CAD Model:

Procedure:

Step-1: Imported the CAD Model to hypermesh

Step-2: Found out the thickness uniformity and created mid-surface and then meshing with size of 5mm

Step-3: Created RBE2 link at position 'a' and then linked a-a with ROD, of box cross-sectionand dof has constrained

Step-4: Created RBE3 link at position 'b' and then linked b-b with BEAM, of I section and dof has constrained

Step-5: Created RBE3 link at position 'c' and then linked c-c with BAR, of X cross-section and dof has constrained in x,y

Step-6: Applied mass of agnitude 10 with RBE2 link, at position'd' & 'e'

Step-7: Created Spring element between componet at position 'f'
