Week 4-1D Element Creation Challenge

Procedure:

1. Import a model, which is in IGES file.
2. Using delete entities panel, delete all the lines and solid of the model.
3. Apply midsurface to the model since the thickness is less than 6. Use skin offset for extraction.
4. Apply washer split to all the circles with an offset value of 5.
5. Apply automesh with an element size of 5.

7. Create a material for steel
8. Create a component of upper bracket, lower bracket, rod, bar and beam.
9. Create a property for upper bracket, lower bracket, rod, bar and beam.
10. Generate a rbe2 and rbe3 element in a respective circle.
11. Generate a rod, bar and beam element.
12. Apply a load to d and e circle.
13. Apply spring to f section.
