Week 4-1D Element Creation Challenge

Objective:

For the given component meshing of units has to be done and apply property to the 1D components.

PROCEDURE:

*Extracting the midsurface from one surface and rename it as bracket 1 and craeting a new component extract another mid surface from another surface and organize it to the bracket2 of new unused component.

*Assign a new two property and name it as bracket 1&2 and give the thickness of 2.0 & 2.5 to each off them.

*Apply washer split to the curved areas and mesh them with target element size of 5 units.

*Create three hyperbeam sections for rod, bar and beam elements with the rquired dimensions.

*Create another property for the given sections and creating the rigid 2&3 elements with the constrained criteria.

*And create the rod , beam and bar elements and apply the assigned property for them.

*

*Apply the masses given to the certain elements and combine the two components with the spring elements.

Result:

The required geometry is meshed and applied 1D component with rigid 2 &3 elements.
