Week 3 - Geometry simplification of an Electronic enclosure assembly

AIM :To work on the geometry simplification of an Electronic Enclosure Assembly.

OBJECTIVE : To simply the CAD in spaceclaim. To export the converted ICE PACK objects to ICEPACK project. To import into ICE PACK and CHeck for intersections.

LEVELS of Simplifications :

In the current model we have the following bodies simplified into different bodies :

1. Focus Bodies - Chips, Fins, Heat sinks, and other smaller components in the flow directions.

2. Necessary bodies - Enclosures, Grills, Connectors, PCB Board, Capacitors

3. Peripheral bodies - Pins

4. Dispensable bodies - Nuts & Bolts, washers, Cover plate extra bodies outside the domain (Which are removed during the simplification)

The attachment contains the step by step methods and tools used for simplification on the given CAD body.
