Use ADVISOR tool and simulate the following

1. For EV_defaults_in file, if cargo mass is 500 kg with all other default conditions, can the vehicle travel for 45 km with FTP drive cycle? Conclude your observations.

Since the single FTP drive cycle runs upto 17.7 km we have increased the drive cycle 3 times to increase the distance to be covered.
it can be seen in the result that the covered distance was 41.4 km in a single charge therefore the vehicle couldn't able to acheive
the 45 km in single charge with 500 kg and all the default values .
its because of the energy storage capacity the vehicle couldn't give the desired mileage.

2. In the above case, try changing the battery capacity and repeat the simulation.

Now after the change of energy storage to ESS_PB85 which is total of 46 cells with 549 volatage,
the vehicle now can run upto 53.3 km in a single charge.

3. Perform gradeability test with PRIUS_Jpn_defaults_in file

Compare your results in table and conclude.

case 1: 30 mph 10 secs Gradeabilty :2.5%

CASE 2: 50 mph 10 secs Gradeabilty :2.0%

CASE 3: 60 mph 10 secs Gradeabilty :1.5%

as the speed increases the gradeabilty of the vehicle decreseas
