Week 2 Challenge : Surface meshing on a Pressure valve
Geometry cleanup of Pressure valve :
Cleanup of the geometry using new surface where the red coons are eliminated by creating new surface

Cleanup is done by removing triple cons and then creating new surfaces in places of red cons

New surfaces are made by using new option in faces and then selecting coons and then the new surface will be formed.

Fill hole option is used for creating surface on same plane.

PIDs are assigned using Properites menu.
The intersecting geomtry is resolved using intersect option which deletes the unnecessary geometry for geometry free from triple cons.

The convex cons are due to the geometry which wont create any issue for further surface meshing

Surface mesh using below mentioned target length:
1) 1 mm :
The body can be meshed using 5 mm target length and is showing correct geometry.

The spring using 1 mm target length is showing correct geometry and can be used for processing part

2) 3 mm :
The surface meshing of body using 3mm target length is showing proper result.

Surface meshing of spring using 3 mm is still improper in shape and wont be giving us accurate results in processing

3) 5mm :
The meshing of body using bigger target length can be done and is suitable for porcessing part.

Improper meshing is observed in spring because of bigger target length.

Conclusion : The surface mesh using bigger target length can be suitbale for a bigger geomtery but it will create improper surface meshing for smaller items. For example the body can be meshed using bigger target length i.e . 5mm but same cannot be done with the spring. So to overcome such improper meshing smaller parts like spring should have smaller target length. So 5mm or lower target length is suitable for surface meshing of bigger geometry whereas 1 mm target length is suitable for surface meshing of spring for achieving correct geometry.
